The LCD Display is a cool new option that lets you see what track is currently playing, as well as almost all the other info available in Winamp. This plug-in will output ID3 song info to the LCD Display panel. You can choose most anything in the ID3 tag to be displayed. My particular display has a backlight along with a control to adjust the brightness and contrast. Since the serial port is in use by the IR remote, the LCD Display uses the parallel port. I used my player without an LCD Display for over a year so it is not a necessity. It costs between $50 and $100 to add the LCD Display to your system, below is a list of the info which can be displayed. Due to popular demand, there is now a file with the plug-in that allows you to support different size LCD's…. Anything from 10x1 to 40x4 in size!

Info Which Can Be Specified for each line (you simply choose 4 of the 16 items and put them into a file, and the plug-in will display those four items in the order you chose):

0 Track Name (from the ID3 tag)
1 Artist (from the ID3 tag)
2 Album (from the ID3 tag)
3 Year (from the ID3 tag)
4 Comment (from the ID3 tag)
5 Current position (in time) mm:ss (min:sec)
6 Current position mm:ss.hh (min:sec.hundredth)
7 Time Remaining -mm:ss
8 Song length mm:ss
9 Track Number (based on the playlist)
10 Sample Rate
11 Bit Rate
12 Number of Channels
13 Title that Winamp is displaying
14 Filename of the song playing (with full path)
