The picture above is contains three separate screen captures. These windows are almost exactly what you will see with the plug-ins used for your car mp3 player. The first is the IR plug-in, to set it up you choose the com-port your IR receiver is on and click enable. You then click each of the buttons under key settings and it waits for you to press a button on the remote control. It then recognizes the button you pressed on the remote with the function you selected. This makes setting up a remote to work with it very simple. The small box is a sample output for the LCD plug-in. There is no configuration menu for the LCD plug-in, but the sample output will show you exactly what should be on the LCD. The bottom window is the keypad plug-ins configuration menu, there is not anything to configure, but it will remind you which keys perform which functions. Out of the three, the keypad plug-in is the most useful. The IR and LCD plug-ins are nice extras, but not required on the low-budget system. All the information you need to get these devices up and running in no time is included with the plans.
